Obituary for Marjorie W. Sokoloski

Marjorie W. Sokoloski
Marjorie W. Sokoloski, 89, of Rockville, beloved wife of the late Chester Sokoloski, passed away peacefully after a short battle with COPD on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Beside her was Sharon Gauthier RN/MSN who was her private geriatric care manager and took great care of her needs as well as Dan Green who was also part of PAFY, LLC in Avon Connecticut. Those who cared for her the most were Wilma and Dechon, private aides who spent tireless hours making sure she had her hair cute, her exercise in and her needs met on a daily basis. Don and Cheryl Dahling Co-Managers from White Oaks were always watching over her to make sure she came to her meals and if she couldn’t had her meals delivered to her throughout her illness that started in February 2016. She was close to her brother who died a few years back and fought hard to have his possessions left to his caregiver Michael that she knew her brother wanted. She also respected and trusted Maura Woods her Trustee at Bank of America who watched over her needs being sure that Marge knew her bills were paid and had no worries about her care needs. She was ready to go and be with her husband Chester as she spoke of him often. She worked at the Aircraft for years as a drafter and inspector and always loved talking about her work being proud of what she did. She was born December 9, 1926 in Richford, VT, daughter of the late Donald and Laura (Feldman) Weld. She graduated from Howell Cheney Tech in 1948. She leaves behind her nephew Donald Weld and her niece Diane Bengsten. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Vernon. Marge would want donations made in her name to the charity of your choice as she wanted her estate left to many charities and talked about giving her monies to people who would be able to care for those in need.
