Gloria L. (Gliemo) Krupa, 79, of Tolland loving wife of 48 years to the late Henry J. Krupa entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at Fox Hill Center. Gloria was born July 15, 1937 in NYC to the late Leo and Betty Gliemo. Gloria was a wonderful and strong woman with the biggest heart. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of St. Helen's Society and an active member of St. Joseph's Church. She loved spending time with her family, whether it was cooking, going to the beach, fishing, gardening or the casino. She worked at JCPenny Warehouse and P.R. Smith elementary school's cafeteria in South Windsor where she enjoyed interacting with the students up until her retirement. Her hobbies included sewing, playing cards, babysitting, and being her grandchildren's number one fan. She is survived by her five children, her daughter, Christine C. Leung; her son and daughter-in-law, Paul J. and Sharon Krupa; her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne E. and David D. Pollinger; her daughter and son-in-law, Katherine M. and Timothy Gerry; her son and daughter-in-law, David J. and Amy Krupa; her grandchildren, Peter and Justina Leung, Justin Cyr and Jacob Krupa, Rebecca Akey and Haley and Brandon Pollinger, Angelica Cone, and Violet and Ivy Krupa. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, August 28th, from 3-6 p.m. at the Small & Pietras Funeral Home, 65 Elm St., Rockville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 29th at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Rockville. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Rockville.
