Anna (Thibeault) Dube, 95, of Enfield, formerly of East Windsor, beloved widow of Laurier Dube passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Residence on Sunday, October 9, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born March 8, 1921 in Paquetteville, Quebec,Canada to the late Arthur and Marie (Daigneault) Thibeault. She was very passionate about children, she was a school teacher for grades 1-7 in a one room schoolhouse. A devout Catholic, Anna was a daily communicant of St. Joseph Chapel. She lived at St. Joseph’s Residence for 20 years; she helped maintain the chapel alongside the Sisters. She was a long time member of the Legion of Mary and held many positions. Anna is survived by her eleven children who she cared for deeply; 24 Grandchildren and 35 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Laurier in 1996. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Sisters at St. Joseph’s, as well as, the staff for all of their years of great care for Anna. Relatives and friends may join the family on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 5-7 pm at St. Joseph’s Residence, 1365 Enfield St, Enfield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Broad Brook, CT.
