Theresa Pelletier, 82, of Storrs, CT, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Fort Kent, ME, she has resided in Connecticut since 1967. She is survived by her 8 children; Alan, Arlene, Lolita, Gary, Lucia, Corinna, Cynthia, Christine, and their spouses, 18 grandchildren,16 great grandchildren, and one sister, Lucille Roy of Fort Kent, ME. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Pelletier of 62 years. Her parents, Alfonse and Catherine (Blanchette) Charette. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one son-in-law and one grandson, sisters Elizabeth, Rita, and Cora and brothers Joseph, Patrick, Camille, Romeo, Louis, and David. She had been employed by Pratt and Whitney before retiring in 1992. She was involved in "Life in the Spirit Prayer Group" of St. Josephs Church in Rockville and a very active member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Coventry. Relatives and friends may join the family on Sunday, February 19, 2017, from 4-7 pm at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Road (Rt 195), Tolland, CT 06084. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 10 am at St. Mary's Church, Coventry. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Coventry.
