Joseph Lavoie, 80, of Coventry, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 16, 2017. He was born on August 21, 1936 in Madawaska, ME to the late Lucie (Legasse) and Fred Lavoie. He worked as a laborer at Pratt and Whitney for thirty five wonderful years. As a hobby he enjoyed working on various types of equipment, especially small engine repair. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marie Lavoie, his son’s Paul Lavoie and Patrick Lavoie and his wife Diane, and his three grandchildren Megan, Devin and Brittany.
