Albert Champagne Jr. passed away on 4/3/2017 at the age of 77 years old. Albert served in the Army from 1961 until 1963 leaving with an honorable discharge. Albert started working for the Town of Vernon Public Works Department in September 1974 and retired January of 2000. He was also a long time member of the TKB Club in Rockville.

Albert leaves behind longtime partner Marty Dusseault who he loved dearly, 4 daughters and their spouses; Lisa and Michael Calabrese, Kelly and Keith Mersereau, Samantha and Tom Broadbent , and Sabrina and Philip Bors. Albert also leaves behind 2 sons, Daniel and his wife Karen Champagne and Scott Champagne as well many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Tpke. (Rte. 44) Coventry, CT 06238. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Friday, April 7, 2017 at St. Mary’s Church, 1600 Main St., Coventry. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Coventry.
