Lawrence F. Shustock, Sr., 85, of Broad Brook, beloved husband of Theresa (Giroux) Shustock, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 11, 1931 in Hartford, son of William and Norma (Pastula) Shustock. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, and country music. Besides his loving wife Theresa, he is survived by his children Lawrence Shustock, Jr., Celeste Jacavone, Elaine Merkouriou, Paul Shustock and his wife Susanne, Daniel, Vincent, Timothy, Andrew, Robert, and Michael Shustock. He also leaves his brother Ted Shustock and his wife Marianne, his grandchildren Kristine, Tabitha, Steven, and Bethany Shustock, Samuel Irvine, Alexandra Merkouriou, Theresa, Angela, Laura Rose Jacavone and her fiance Anthony Parillo, as well as his great grandson Zelano and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings William Stevens, Rosalie Roy, Sally Robillard, and his granddaughter Victoria Shustock. Relatives and friends may join the family on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 9 AM-10:30 AM at the Bassinger & Dowd Funeral Home, 37 Gardner St., East Windsor, CT 06088. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at St. Catherine’s Church, Broad Brook. Burial will follow at St. Catherine Cemetery, East Windsor.
