Condolence From: Beverly Olis
Condolence: Today, as I caught up on reading the newspapers, I read the obituary of a special woman, a friend I expected to send a Christmas card to, to have another surprise lunch with, to catch up with on the phone. Carolyn, your time to join the Lord came sooner than expected. Yet another lesson in just how short life is, and holds no guarantees. Thank you for your mentoring me at St. Bernard's, for sharing your classroom with me, for your friendship. Charles, God give you what you need to adjust to living without such a wonderful woman, your Carolyn. Know you will not be alone in missing her.

Condolence From: Carol (Grodecki) Curtis
Condolence: Carolyn was a classmate all through grammar and high school in Terryville. she was my very good friend. I spent many hours visiting her home and her grandmother Green's farm She was a sweet, kind and humorous person - and also a poet of great talent in high school. Though we didn't see each other much after she moved away, I see she lived a fruitful, fulfilling life. Carol Curtis

Condolence: It was with disbelief that I read of Carolyn's death. She was just such an active, vibrant person, had a great sense of humor, and was a joy to be around. I met Carolyn at Tia Chi some years ago, where we struggled together for a number of years with balancing! I have enjoyed encounters with her at the Historical Society and I know she will be missed so much not only by her family but also in the community. May God give the family comfort in memories of times together and in knowing that Carolyn touched many lives. in a positive way.

Condolence: Dear Mr. Blouin, Anne, John, Mary, Paul, and families, I am so deeply sorry to have heard of the passing of your wife/mom/grandma. I remember "Nursie" fondly in my younger days as a camper and counselor and then had the pleasure of working with her on staff. I remember her as a very loving person who always had a smile on her face and treated all her patients with tender loving care. I hope that all the wonderful memories you carry with you help ease your sorrow. I will be sure to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers as you journey through this difficult time. With my deepest condolences, Denise Salone Zalaski

Condolence: Shocked and disbelief over the passing of our "housemother", Carolyn, from St. Francis School of Nursing. She watched over and helped us all through that first year experience. May God give you all strength and comfort in the trying days ahead.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. I can't tell you my shock at learning about this. It has taken me a long time to come to grips with knowing I will never see Carolyn and joke with her again in this lifetime. I hope she is dancing away in Heaven. God Bless all of you and let your fond memories of happier times together warm your hearts. This truly is a tragedy. Know that there are others grieving with you. Dottie

Condolence: Being a genealogist, I tend to find things by accident....this was one of those times and it was instant tears. My heart aches for Charles and their family. She helped me countless times at the Vernon Historical society. Was even trying to figure out if we were related through my paternal Polish side....shared some great stories together and I will never forget her. Taken too soon, but God had other plans. Lots of hugs and prayers to her family and friends. She had a heart of gold. She will be missed
