Vernon Smith went to be with his beloved wife Eva on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. He was a resident of Coventry, CT since 1979. He served in the Army during World War II and received a Purple Heart. He is survived by his sister-in-law Carla Baldwin. He was predeceased by his wife Eva and his son Brian. Friends and relatives are welcome to join the family for a graveside service on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Mary Cemetery in Coventry.
