Marion Shirley Mikalson (Salvatore) peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 just a few months shy of her 90th birthday. Daughter of the late Michael “Micky” Albert Salvatore and Catherine Helen (Brown) Salvatore. Marion leaves behind two sons Gary Mikalson and Joseph Mikalson Jr, three daughters, Joan Mikalson, Nora VanHouten, Jean Priddy and three grandsons, Daniel and Henry Chenevert and Joseph Mikalson III. Marion is pre deceased by her loving husband Joseph Mikalson as well as her brother Louis Salvatore. She also leaves behind many good friends. Marion was born on February 7, 1928 in Hartford CT, she has resided in East Windsor CT for the last 60 years where she lovingly raised her family. Marion enjoyed her home and working out in her yard. But most of all she enjoyed her time with family. Calling hours with a Christian blessing will be from 4-5 pm on Tuesday, November 28 at the Bassinger & Dowd funeral Home, 37 Gardner St, East Windsor. A Funeral Home Service will take place at 5 pm.
