Judith Ann ( Olding) Bureau, 80, of Tolland, Connecticut passed away unexpectedly at UConn Health Center on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Hartford on November 23, 1937 and raised in West Hartford. Judith was preceded by her parents Roy F. and Catherine ( O’Brien ) Olding, husband Paul L. Bureau and special friend Edward R. Lipka. Judith retired from The University of Connecticut where she worked in the personnel department. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, swimming, ice skating, knitting and spending time with family and friends. She attended services at St. Matthews’s church in Tolland and St. Bernard’s church in Rockville. She was proud of her Irish heritage and deep Catholic faith. Judith is survived by her sister Kathleen Olding of Guilford, daughter Lynn McCoy and husband Wayne of Bellevue, Ohio, son Richard Roy Tourtellotte and wife Nina of Litchfield, and son Daniel Tourtellotte and wife Beth of Tolland. She is also survived by and enjoyed spending time with her five grandchildren; Angela and Joseph Stevens, Dane McCoy and Rachael Baughn, Rebecca Tourtellotte, Lauren Tourtellotte and Joshua Tourtellotte; five great grandchildren Halle, Joslynn, Olivia, Hailey and Hannah. Judith was deeply devoted to her family and friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and unconditional love she shared with all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Calling hours will be held at The Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect Street, Rockville, CT on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Church, 25 St. Bernard’s Terrace, Rockville, CT.
