Beverly F. (Laws) Coulombe, 85, died peacefully at home in Tolland, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 14, 2017.
She was born on October 13, 1932 in Hartford, one of two children of the late George Laws and Eva (Schuberth) Laws Clemento and raised by her mother and late step dad Joseph Clemento.
Beverly was a founding member of Saint Matthews Church and throughout the years very active in the community. She was very talented, especially at sewing, starting her own business as a seamstress. She also loved painting, quilting, gardening, camping, her many dogs and most of all her husband “Moe” and her family.
Beverly was predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Maurice and infant daughter Patrice as well as her parents George Laws, Eva Laws Clemento and Joseph Clemento; her brother Robert Laws and wife Sharon and her best friend Betty Cyr. Left behind to mourn her passing but celebrate her life are her children David Coulombe and wife Deborah, Lauryl Shearn and Diane Field with whom she made her home. Grandchildren Timothy Coulombe & Liz, Jeremy Shearn, Robert Shearn & Shannon, James Shearn, Daniel Field & Kristina, Kevin Field and her great grandchildren Jasmine, Abram, Alanna, Amelia and Isabella and godson George Laws.

Relatives and friends may join the family on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 9-10 AM at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Road (Rt. 195), Tolland with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM at St. Matthew's Church, Tolland.
