Martin "Marty" Alberti, 57, of Somers, passed away suddenly in his home on January 15, 2018. He was born on October 6, 1960 in Hartford, CT. He is survived by his loving wife, Deb Alberti, of 28 years; three daughters: Jessica, Codi, and Kaylee; two grandsons: Adam and Zachariah; his parents: Raymond and Susanne; his brothers and sisters: Louise, Lynn, Rob, Carmela and Diana; sister and brother-in-law’s: Lori and Fred Sanchez and Brenda and Renny Hanson; and several nieces and nephews. He worked many years at Hamilton, Nationwide Moving & Storage, and UPS Freight Truckload for Advanced Auto Parts. Whether he was racing his dirt bike in Southwick, MA with Kevin or in South Carolina with Tommy, he was always chasing speed. Marty, also known as ‘Pa,’ always put his family first. We will always remember him as the man with an S on his chest. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
