On Friday, June 8, 2018, Michael W. Balkum passed away suddenly with his loving family at his side. He was born on November 30, 1956 to Everette and Joyce Balkum in Tallahassee, Florida. He was the younger brother of Ellen Haley and Pam Williams, brother in law to Tom Williams, and sole mate to Nina Balkum. He was such a loving and gentle man, a friend for life to those who knew him. Despite the adversities he faced daily living with his brain injury, he could always make you smile. He will be so dearly and deeply missed by those who loved him. He was a brother, an uncle, a cousin, life long friend and a soul mate. A private celebration of his life will be held in July. Please take a moment to remember Mike and share a memory with a friend.
