Katherine J. Gagnon, of Vernon, beloved wife of the late Bernard Arthur Gagnon “Bernie”, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. She was born in Rockville on August 19, 1949, daughter of the late Roger and Ida (Brown) Courtemanche. She is survived by her children Michael Haracz and Andrea York and her husband William all of MA; as well as her grandson Ashton “Moonface” , and granddaughter Brooke “Starface”, and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her siblings Ann Carmody, Terri Valente and her husband Rick, Gene Courtemanche and his wife Betty, and Roger Courtemanche and his wife Linda. Katherine was predeceased by her sisters Dawn Wilcox and Mary Kelly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Bernard’s Church, Rockville. Burial will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, 1601 State Street, Springfield, MA 01109.
