Eleanor H. (Affricano) Yost-Bardini, 91, departed this life into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. She was born July 3, 1921 to the late James and Madeline (Englese) Affricano in the Rockville section of Vernon. She resided in Stafford Springs for many years with her first husband, William H. Yost (deceased), with whom she assisted in managing the William H Yost Funeral Home for more than 25 years. She continued living in Stafford Springs, as well as Florida, with her second husband, George Bardini (deceased). She is survived by “The Twins”, Barbara (Yost) Titus and William H. Yost Jr. and his wife, Peggy; her three grandchildren and their spouses, Jessica (Yost ) Slayton and her husband, Jamie , Amy (Yost) Edberg and her husband, Nathan, Tom Titus and his wife, Marissa; her five great-grandchildren, William & Wyatt Slayton , Mason, Logan & Eleanor Titus. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Friday , May 31, 2013 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect Street, Rockville. A Funeral Procession will leave the funeral home to St.Bernard’s Church in Rockville for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held private.
