Condolence: To the family and loved ones of Summer: I can only imagine how deeply you're feeling this loss - because Summer was the embodiment of a truly beautiful soul! Though she and I had lost contact and hadn't spoken in years, I've always fondly remembered the time we spent together both in person and online. She was an oddball like me, and I loved her for it because I felt as though she were a sister in a sense.
She left an impact on this world and her strength and confidence is something I admired more than she realized. I'm forever grateful for the bond she and I once shared. My sincere condolences.

Condolence: Dear Marie, Merrilee and Family--
Several years ago, my friend and colleague Bill Prenetta and I were mourning the loss of one of our students. We spoke about the blessed light that our dear ones shine on the lives of all who were fortunate to know them, even if only briefly. I recall Summer's ever constant bright outlook. She made me smile when she arrived in Room 116 for American Lit. class. Learning of her passing was shocking and sad, yet knowing that Summer will forever be a sweet, loving, and blessed light in this world as she lives on in our hearts is a gift beyond measure. Condolence: While we lost touch after school, I will always remember the years of Summer's quick wit and of mischievous laughs that we shared. One of my favorite memories of our Junior year was greeting each other in science class nearly every day with 'Fancy meeting you here!' in faux British falsetto.
