Obituary for Judith M. "Judy" Koehler (Marley)

Judith M. (Marley) Koehler, 78, of Ellington, beloved wife of the late Roy M. Koehler, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at her home. She was born October 23, 1939 in Rockville, CT, the daughter of the late William and Florence (Kuca) Marley. Judy was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, painting, her grandchildren, and the social committee at St. Luke Church. Judy is survived by her children; her daughters, Deborah Horton and her husband Wayne of Berkley, MA, Karen Koehler and her boyfriend Ed Palauskas Jr. of Ellington, her sons, Shawn Koehler and wife Kelli and their children Colton, Cooper, Frank and Amanda of Ellington, Todd Koehler and wife Pamela of West Suffield and Rory Koehler and his children Brionna and Trevor of Ellington; her brother Thomas Marley; her sister Barbara Luetjen and her husband Dennis and her faithful companion Sadey. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband who passed away in August 2017, her half-sister Helen Downes, and sister-in-law Carolyn Marley. Relatives and friends may join the family on Monday, January 15, 2018, from 4-7 pm at Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Luke Church, Ellington (Please meet at Church). For online condolences please visit www.pietrasfuneralhome.com.
