Obituary for Agnes "Aggie" Pomeroy (Cadder)

Agnes “Aggie” (Cadder) Pomeroy, 86, of East Windsor, beloved wife of 66 years to the late Donald Pomeroy passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018. She was born July 27, 1931 in Hartford, the daughter of the late Robert and Mae (Horan) Cadder. She retired from the Administrative Office of the East Windsor Senior Center. Aggie’s Tromley Rd. home was a catch-all for family and friends to play cards, sing songs, and hear the stories of her life. Her wisdom and sense of humor shone through these stories, usually told at her kitchen table where you could expect love, laughs, and plenty of coffee. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Thelma and Peter Putriment of Cobleskill, NY, Fred and JeanMarie Pomeroy of Granby, Joseph and Jennifer Pomeroy of East Windsor, Robert and Korine Pomeroy of East Windsor, Jeannie Murphy of East Windsor, Samuel Pomeroy and Danielle Frodyma of Colrain, MA, and Lenny and Carmen Smith of Windsor Locks; her sister, Ellen Putira and her husband Frank of Manchester; her brother, John Cadder of Newington; her grandchildren, Jean Stabinski and her husband Alex, Peter L. Putriment, Louis Putriment and his wife Megan, Helen Romeyn and her husband Ronnie, Donald Pomeroy (Ashlyn Selner), Valerie Pomeroy (Daniel Maher), Daniel Pomeroy, Kristen Pomeroy (Seth Mead), Thomas Pomeroy (Cat Hammel), Kaitlyn Reopell and her husband Jamie, Kelsey-Ann Pomeroy (Conor Belanger), Ryan Murphy, Samuel Maher and his wife Sabrina (Mastroianni), Carly Maher, Nathaniel Murphy, and Sara Quesnel; her great grandchildren, Alexander, Viktor and Joseph Stabinski, Elizabeth and Liam Putriment, and Nicholas Maher. She was predeceased by her son, Donald Pomeroy; her son-in-law, Jere Murphy; and her siblings, Robert and Thomas Cadder, Mary Bergman, Ann Felber, and Kathryn Sawyer. Thank you to the North Central Hospice & Palliative Care, and also our family friend Eva Morris for her loving care of our mother.
