Condolence: My aunt, Lee Pia, was a very good friend of both Lucille and Hazel and spent many happy times with them at Crystal Lake. My mother, Mary, was friends with them as well. Condolences from Nancy Menotti Huntzinger and the Menotti family.

Condolence: Lucille was an amazing person. I so enjoyed the conversations we had during our visits. We were both alumni of St.Joseph's and it was interesting to hear what the school was like when she attended. Rest in peace, Lucille. Prayers are being lifted for you and your family.

Condolence: Ruth and I are really Blessed to have known Lucille. She led a full life and will be missed by many people. Her Birthday calls were always appreciated. She and Hazel were always close and caring.Now they can continue to enjoy each other. Please know that Lucille is in our prayers

Condolence: Lucille Kuhnly was one of the best teachers I had at Rockville High. Although I have always had a definite bent toward the humanities (I hold two degrees in English), I came to appreciate the wonders of science and math in her chemistry class. In later life we were back in contact as we socialized with a circle of RHS teachers, and at that time we shared a loyalty to our common alma mater, Saint Joseph College as it was then known (now the University of Saint Joseph). I feel privileged to have had Miss Kuhnly in my life.

Condolence: I told my dad, Will Kuhnly, of Lucille's passing and he had fond memories of the many times they spent at Crystal Lake when he lived next to Lucille's cottage. Will is 99 now and living in an assisted living apartment in Ormond Beach, FL. He is in good health and I call him the mayor of Brookdale. I can still remember when I was a kid and at the Lake I would often help Lucille get the canoe out so she could paddle around the Lake, although she never needed help and I probably only got in her way. She was a wonderful person and helped me get though Chemistry class at RHS. She will be missed. Our prayers go out to the extended family and close friends. Barry Kuhnly
