Gertrude P. Morell, 89, of Broad Brook, beloved wife of the late Nelson Morell passed away Monday, September 10, 2018. She was born February 4, 1929, the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Meyers) Perry. She loved the NBA and was an avid Celtics fan. She is survived by her three daughters, Bonnie Shiffler and her husband Allan of South Windsor, Joy Boutin and her husband Norman of East Windsor, and Heidi Bobianski and her husband Joseph of Springfield, MA; her ten grandchildren, Lisa, Andrea, Carrie, Kimberly, Tracy, Erin, William, Benjamin, Brian and Brady; her 16 great grandchildren and one sister. She was predeceased by her two brothers. She also leaves her best friend, Buster. The family would like to thank the staff at the Cardiac ICU at St. Francis Hospital for their wonderful care.
