Robert D. Perron, 83, of Broad Brook, beloved husband of Elaine (Persky) Perron passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born November 10, 1935 in Lawrence MA to the late Phillip and Jeanne (Demoras) Perron. He was blessed with 63 years of marriage. He filled his life with family and friends, whether it was working with his sons on projects, attending his grandchildren events or having a dinner with neighborhood friends, Bob would enjoy sharing stories and laughter. He was committed to his community, serving in the Army National Guard rising to the rank of Sargent as a marksmen. He also was a coach and President of the East Windsor Little League. His working life was primarily with Standadyne for over 30 years as the machine repair foreman. He was a passionate snowmobiler and an avid traveler. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons; Philip Perron and his wife Mary of Willington, Benjamin Perron and his wife Jean of Granby, Theodore Perron of Coral Springs, FL; Leo Nistico of Bristol; his brother Raymond Perron of California; his Grandchildren, Justin Pinette, Danielle Perron, Richelle Efland, Heather Smith, Jacqueline Perron, Elyse Perron, Carly Perron, Olivia Perron, Melanie Lee; his Great Grandchildren, Mickayla and Ian; and his special neighborhood friends. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Masonic Hospice Care Nurses and Home Health Aids. Relatives and friends may join the family on Thursday, November 15, 2018, from 5 – 7 pm at the Bassinger & Dowd Funeral Home, 37 Gardner, St, East Windsor, CT.
