PAUL THEODORE JACHIM, 98, beloved husband of the late Corinne (Willis) Jachim, passed away peacefully on December 6th. Paul worked hard on his family’s farm in Willington and graduated trade school to become a Tool & Die Maker. He was employed by the Allen Manufacturing Co. full time and part time at Skyline Quarry. After his retirement, he worked well into his 80’s at H.L. Diehl, Scranton Motors and Dunkin’ Donuts. He enjoyed yard work, fishing, playing Bingo and Set Back. His Cadillacs were his pride & joy. In his later years on Cape Cod, he grew to be an avid Boston sports fan.

A dedicated Husband of 71 yrs, Father and Grandfather, he leaves his children Judy & Steve Siegel, Cathy & George Zografos and was predeceased by Donna & Douglas Wallingford. He also leaves his five Grandsons, Jay Petersen and his wife Windy and son Griffin, Jon Petersen and his wife Arisha, Dennis, Paul and Cory Zografos.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon on Sunday 12/16 at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Road (Rte. 195), Tolland. A Memorial Service will follow at 12 Noon at Tolland Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
