Obituary for Louise Marie Wilcox

Louise Marie (Pike) Wilcox, 56 of Ellington, loving wife of 34 years to Bart S. Wilcox, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on February 17, 2019 after a year-long courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born on May 15, 1962 in Valdosta, Georgia to Steven and Antonia (Jablonski) Pike. Louise was a graduate of East Catholic High School and a certified Pharmacy Technician in CT and MA. She spent 30 plus years in the medical field, most recently as a medical records manager at Integriscript. Louise loved her work family and the entire Berkshire Health Team.
Louise had an impact on everyone she met and always knew how to put a smile on your face. She will be so dearly missed by the many lives she touched in her short time on this earth. Louise enjoyed camping, reading, family trips to Cape Cod and Vermont, playing darts and cooking. Most of all she treasured spending time with her family and making life-long memories.
Louise is survived by her husband Bart, daughter Marie N. Wilcox, son Benjamin S. Wilcox, her parents Steven and Antonia, her siblings Michelle (Michael), Steven, Danny. Her father and mother in- law Roger and Marjorie, brother- in law Danny, brother-in law Randy (Joanne), sister –in law Joanie (Dave), many cousins, nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs Koda and Bella. She was predeceased by her grandparents Rudolph and Rose (Puliafico) Jablonski.
Relatives and friends may join the family on Saturday, February 23, 2019 between 11am-1pm with a Funeral Home Service at 1pm at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 prospect Street, Rockville. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
