Obituary for Michaline A. Dymon

Michaline A. (Dusza) Dymon, 93, of Vernon, beloved wife of Edward Dymon, passed away February 20, 2019. She was born September 28, 1925 in Enfield, the daughter of the late, Ludwik and Mary (Trecziak) Dusza. She attended the public schools in Enfield, graduating from Enfield High School with honors. She was employed by the State of CT for 19 years, retiring in 1961, then going on to work alongside her husband as part owner of the Trophy Shop in Vernon. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Vernon for more than 60 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed puzzles and golfing. She was a member of a Bridge Group, and a charter member of Ellington Ridge Country Club as well as a member of The Women's Auxiliary of Polish American Veterans Club. Besides her husband of 71 years, she is survived by her sister, Stephanie Cosgrove; her special grandsons, Benjamin and Joel Philips who were the light of her life; her nephew, Michael Cosgrove and his wife, Cindy and their children, Brian and Daniel. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Lori Phillips and her sister Genevive Hambach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10:30am at St. Luke Church, 141 Maple Street, Ellington (Please meet at Church).
