John J. Krol, 68, of Tolland, beloved husband of Mary (Torry) Krol, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, surrounded by his family at St. Francis Hospital. He was born October 21, 1950 in Hartford to the late Stanley and Mary (Bazar) Krol. John enjoyed gardening, the beach, and collecting tractors. He loved his New York Yankees and classic cars -especially his 1956 Corvette. He was an incredible mechanic who could fix anything. His biggest pride and joy were his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife as well as his sons, Jeremy Krol, Paul Krol and his wife Christie; his daughter, Khristina Selley and her husband Jared; his brother Fred Krol; his sisters Elaine Smith and Ellenda deRezendes; his grandchildren, Jacek Krol, Annah Krol, Kylie Krol, Jaxon Selley, Olivia Krol, and Sierra Selley. Relatives and friends may join the family on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 9am-11am at Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Rd (rt. 195), Tolland,CT. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 am.
