It is with great sadness that we must say goodbye to William (Tucker) Allen, 83, of East Windsor. After graduating Ellsworth High School in South Windsor and marrying his high school sweetheart Victoria, they enjoyed 62 wonderful years together. After completing his education at Ward School of Electronics, he opened his first business Allen Repair Service, Inc. He then opened Allen Hardware his lifelong dream, which became a gathering point in town for knowledge and friendship. He leaves behind his sister Patricia Comp of Florida. His greatest joy in life was his Family, daughter Devon and husband Mark Fulton and daughter Susan Allen. Known as “Pop” to his grandchildren Michaelyn and husband Craig Hunter, Joshua Fulton and partner Courtney Page and great grandchildren Hailey and Wyatt Hunter. William was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Mabel Allen, son Christopher and “Sweet” Amy. He also leaves his extended family Reggie and Michelle Duby and many nieces and nephews.
