Anita G. Carter, 94, of Manchester, passed away on Friday, November, 15, 2019. She was born on December 20, 1924 in Boston. Anita loved to walk, listen to music and spend time with her family. She was a devoted member of Crossroads Cathedral in East Hartford and very proud to have served the town and students of Manchester as a crossing guard for 45 years. Anita is survived by her daughter, Janice Beebe of Stafford Springs; her sister Kay Fredette of MA; her grandchildren Tracy King and her husband John of Ashford, Kimberly Davis and her husband Matthew of Stafford Springs; her great grandchildren, Amanda, Alexis and Kaylie. She was predeceased by her husband Delbert Carter, her grandchildren; Kristine Donlon and Thomas Donlon III; her sisters, Phylis Sehiarizzi, Eleanor Saluti, Lorraine Mavillia and Violette Driscoll and her son in law Bruce Beebe. Relatives and friends may join the family on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 5-8 at Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St, Rockville.
