Bob’s out-going personality and uncanny ability to remember each and every person he ever met served him well in a variety of sales roles throughout his life. As a proud life member of Windsor CT Lodge # 2060 of The Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks, Bob lived true to the Elk’s four cardinal virtues: charity, justice, brotherly love, & fidelity. In recent years, this was most evident in his volunteer work as a driver for Nutmeg Senior Rides and his unwavering willingness to help a friend (or even a perfect stranger) in their time of need. Bob was very proud of his military service and he loved swapping stories with other Vets; many of whom he helped get into the VA Health System. Bob was also a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge in north central Pennsylvania where he enjoyed spending time with his wife at their log cabin in the woods.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Dale Doyle and his step-daughters; Melissa Koneski and her husband Michael of Windsor, CT and Angela Sawyer and her husband Chris of Bristol, CT; and cousin John Gunning and his wife Nancy of Chicago, IL. Bob was predeceased by two brothers, John & Peter Doyle. He was also predeceased by the other loves of his life – his dogs Farley, Bandit, & Molly.
