Roy L. Smith Jr, 52 of Broad Brook, beloved fiance of JoAnn Deschenes departed this life on Tuesday September 22, 2020. He joins his parents Shirley and Roy Sr. in eternal rest. He leaves his only son Shayne Davidson and his grand daughter Sasha Rae Vazquez and his step daughter Sarah & Junior Brown and his grand-children Azayziah and Azariah and step son Jesse Plourde, Michigan. He also leaves behind his sister Roberlie & Paul Nelson of East Hartford, Wendy & William Zern of Broad Brook, David & Julia Smith of Marlboro and is predeceased by his sister Tammy Romano and many nieces and nephews. Roy loved to cook and celebrate food with family. He lived life, he didn't let life live him. He was an avid Giants football fan, NASCAR Enthusiast as well as a Yankees and Boston Bruins fan.
