Michael Goldstein!
I so wish people would communicate news, even when it hurts. I just found out
today, a tad late. Missed services...
Hadn't seen you in years....we are all retired. I'm so sorry for his family and especially his wife Carol.
We had a lot of adventures at Uconn spring concerts and big events ending at 4am!.
I always felt protected when Mike was around me.
I also enjoyed talking with him at the Golden Eagle, didn't everyone?
Peace. Mike is preparing a place for us in eternity. Condolences.
Love you always. Love your cop buddies too!
Goodbye Michael Ian Goldstein.

Caryl and family - I met Mike in HS and became friends during our hot rod days in the late 1950's.
A group of the "Tappets" hot rod gang got together in 2006 (see photos attached)
Mike and I last got together to visit another friend, Gary Gatzen, who under hospital care in Springfield,
that was about 5 - 7 yrs ago. My first memory of Mike was his PINK 1947-8 Ford coupe.
A few of us still get together at times - we miss the old gang and have some fond memories.
I am still in the car business - let me know if need any advice about the 1936 Ford

I am so sorry to hear about Mike and I send my condolences to the entire family. I have so many good memories from my childhood of the whole gang of fire department brats! I remember that it always seemed that all of the parents were were watching. I am sure that Mike will be missed- and that he and my Dad, Ted will be sure to be having some shenanigan's!
I am sorry for your loss.

Dear Goldstein Family,
I am so sorry for your loss and extending my condolences to the whole family . I serve as the unofficial historian for the Tolland Fire Department. My records indicated that Mike served on the TFD from 1966 to 1972. I have upload a photo that I found of Mike taken with a group of other Tolland Firemen in 1969. I hope you all enjoy the photo!

Dear Caryl,
I had been thinking about Michael this summer when I received a family history from our cousin Suzy Epstein Goldberg. I wanted to contact him, but wasn't sure where you lived, or if he was interested. I am so sorry for your loss. May his memory always be for a blessing.
