Judith E. Thompson died January 13, 2021 at home. She was born August 31, 1940 in Portland, ME. to the late Henry and Hazel (Hanna) Hanson. She lived in Cumberland, ME. and attended schools there. She graduated in 1958 from Greely High School. She married Woodbury Thompson and moved to Falmouth, ME where she raised 3 sons and 1 daughter, she stayed at home with the children until they were in school and then worked as a teachers aide for several years. She then enrolled and graduated from Westbrook College School of Nursing with her nursing degree. She moved to Tolland,CT in 1981 and worked at Rockville General Hospital for 29 years in the Med/Surge Unit, the last 7 years as evening supervisor. She enjoyed working in the garden and walking her dog Abby. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother. She is survived by her sons; Frederick Thompson and his wife Debbie of Gorham,ME, Craig Thompson of Hiram, ME and Alvah Thompson II and his wife Sharon of Ellington; her daughter Holly Delfavero and her husband Allen of Acworth, GA; grandchildren Adam and Mathew Thompson, Samantha and Alvah III, J. Thomas Lee and his wife Danielle, and Andrew Lee. Judith, who wrote her own obituary, stated: I loved my children, I loved my job, I loved my grandchildren. I had a good life!
