Frederick S. Adamson, of Coventry, beloved husband of Linda (Hazen) Adamson, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born August 19, 1944 in Manchester to the late Frederick and Mabel (Phelps)Adamson. He proudly served in the US Air Force. Frederick was an avid bowler over the years, was a Civil War enthusiast and belonged to the Killingly Historical Society. Besides his wife Linda, he is survived by his stepdaughters who he watched grow over the years; Carrie, Joely, Aimee and Tracy; his grandchildren, Ella and Antonio; his brother, William Adamson; his stepsisters Lynn and Karen; his cousin John McHugh who he was very close with and his good friend Doris Wescott and her granddaughter Melissa who he loved like a daughter and many other extended family members and friends. Besides his parents, Frederick was predeceased by his ½ brother Kenneth Adamson. Relatives and friends may join the family on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 10-11 at Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Tpk, Coventry, CT 06238. Burial with full military honors will take place immediately following at South Killlingly Cemetery, Cook Hill Rd, Killingly, CT.
