So sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I had planned to attend his service but unfortunately I'm not feeling good myself today.
I have known Ray since 1957 as he was the first person I worked with when I started at Hamilton Standard. Over the years I have gone duck hunting at his pond on Depot St. and for the last twenty or so years I would pick him up on the second Wednesday of each month for our retiree lunch at the Skyline Restaurant in Windsor Locks. Also I enjoyed helping him drink the red wine he used to make.
With sadness I pray that he may rest in peace.

To the family and friends of Remo,
We are very sad to hear of Remo's passing, and offer our sincere condolences. He was such a wonderful person. My wife Sue grew up knowing his mother (and him) and she used to make homemade pasta with her! Sue really loved her very much. Ray became a great family friend to Sue and her parents (June and Edward Sargent) along with Sue's uncle Earl Sargent who lived next door, and myself. In later years, when Sue's family members had passed, we often saw him and went to him for advice. He was a great help with just about everything. He was once a member of the East Windsor Public Schools Board of Education and stood by Sue during one tough period. He was warm, knowledgable, and respectful, and always had great insight. He loved the Sargent family and was always there for us. I remember him allowing us to pick blueberries for many years from his wonderful blueberry grove around the pond that he and the Sargent's owned. He even chauffeured Sue to our wedding! He loved music and was a great dancer! I'll always remember the times he let me fish the pond from his side of the bank. I caught so many huge bass, I couldn't believe that such a shallow pond would be capable of holding such fish. In short, he was a dear friend and advisor. He will be sorely missed by both of us. Please remember the great things that 'Ray' was noted for! We loved him very much.
Most sincerely,
Sue and Mark Paradise
