Obituary for Kimberly Anne Zanks (Filip)
Kimberly Anne (Filip) Zanks, 38,of Tolland, beloved wife of Jeffrey Zanks and amazing mother of Cody and Kyle Zanks passed away on February 19, 2021. Kim was born on October 20th, 1982 in Rockville, to Alice (Klee) Geci and the late Joseph Filip. Cody and Kyle were everything to Kim, she was a devoted and loving mother to her boys. She would want them to know that she will always be with them, their biggest cheerleader in life.
She proudly worked for Fenton River Animal Hospital in Stafford and Tolland and spent many years working for Ellington Animal Hospital prior to her move to Fenton. Everyone will remember Kim, for her infectious smile and amazing laugh. She was the glue to her friends, the life of the party, the first one to jump in on all Sunday Funday celebrations, the most genuine, caring person anyone could ever meet. Cody and Kyle describe her as the nicest person and the best mom ever.
Other than her treasured husband, Jeff and her cherished sons, Cody and Kyle, she leaves her mother Alice Geci with maternal grandparents, William and Gloria Klee; and her mother and father-in-law, Barbara and Jim Zanks. Kim was predeceased by her father, Joseph Filip and her prized step father Andy Geci.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Rd (Rt 195) Tolland.
