Obituary for Paul Stephen Loubier

Paul Stephen Loubier, 67, of Enfield, passed away peacefully at Johnson Memorial Hospital with his two daughters sitting by his side on Sunday, March 28, 2021.

Paul was born on Sept. 6, 1953 in Hartford, CT to the late Raymond and Loretta (Durprey) Loubier and was one of seven children. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and cyclist. He enjoyed retirement by spending time with his dog/companion “Maggie B” and researching his family’s history. Paul served his country for 20 years in the US Airforce as a mechanic working on F-16s. He retired from Nellis AFB (Las Vegas, NV) as a proud show mechanic on the U.S.A.F Thunderbird team.

Paul is survived by his loving daughters, Wendy (Loubier) Cycenas and her husband Matt of Coventry and Serena Loubier and her husband Clint Rich of Enfield. Most importantly he holds the title of “Grandpa” to: Shauney Cycenas, Christopher Santos, Cassidy Cycenas, Joseph Santos, Nick Cycenas, Madison Ingraham, Parker Cycenas, Heaven Rich, Garrett Rich, Jackson Rich and Evann Rich. Great Grandpa to Greyson Santos. He also leaves behind his brothers Billy Loubier, Jerry Loubier, Mark Loubier and John Loubier; his sister-in-law Karen Loubier, brother-in-law Scott Osborn and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his wife Sarah (Osborn) Loubier, son Ronnie Loubier, dog “Ruby”, brothers Michael Loubier and Joseph Loubier, sister Laurie (Loubier) Salmon, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Katherine and Ronald Osborn.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 3rd, at 11 a.m. at the Scantic Cemetery, East Windsor CT.
