Obituary for Donna Ellen Morell
On Monday, March 22, 2021, Donna Ellen Morell passed away at the age of 70 in Springfield, TN after a short illness.
Donna was born on January 19, 1951 in Hartford CT to Donald and Hazel (Barber) Morell. She was a 1969 graduate of East Windsor High School and lived most of her life in her hometown of East Windsor CT, working on her parents’ farm. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church of East Windsor.
Donna loved reading, taking photos, and caring for her pets and the farm animals. She and her dog Rainey had recently moved to Tennessee to be close to family, who will miss her deeply. She had a kind and compassionate spirit.
Donna was preceded in death by her father, Donald, and her mother, Hazel. She is survived by her Sister Beverley Morell Tyler and her husband David, her brother Robert Morell and his wife Marylou, her three nieces, Dawn Tyler Morris, Karen Tyler Capati, Erin Morell, her 5 Great nephews Christopher, Daniel, Benjamin, Cayden, Alan, her great niece Kaya, and an extended family of cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021 at the Scantic Cemetery in East Windsor, CT at 11am. In Lue of flowers, donations may be made to the American Stroke Society. For online condolences please visit www.pietrasfuneralhome.com.
