Obituary for Kenneth G. Peskurich

Kenneth George Peskurich, 75, of East Haddam, passed away peacefully, on March 31, 2021. He was born March 10, 1946 in Hartford, Connecticut to the late George and Helene (Democko) Peskurich. Ken proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Essex. He worked for Connecticut Light and Power then finishing his career working for IBM for 30+ years.
Ken was a caring and supportive father who loved being outdoors in his free time. Feeding the birds, gardening, chopping wood, or grilling up a feast. He loved Maine lobster, oysters/clams on the half shell, and last but not least fried whole belly clams. Also, he was also a talented woodworker and had a passion for fixing and improving things to the next level.
He is survived by his beloved daughter Christine Alizabeth Helene Peskurich. He leaves his sister Debra W. Eastman of Colorado, former wife and friend Diane Peskurich, and many close friends and co-workers with whom he shared great times and memories. He was predeceased by his sister, Shirley Ann Gable and brother, Gary S. Peskurich.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 11 am at St. Bernard Church, Rockville at 25 St. Bernard Terrace, Rockville, CT 06066. Immediately following the Mass, Kenneth will be laid to rest with military honors at Rose Hill Cemetery, 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill 06067.
