I was fortunate to have worked with Lou at New York Meat Company. He was a kind and compassionate man; soft spoken and always willing to shave a nickel off a price if it meant you got the sale 😉 I can't say I always saw eye to eye with him, but he would always listen to what you had to say...unless it was how much you didn't want to work in the cooler. Out of all the Sartori brothers, he was definitely one of them 😵‍💫 !
I hadn't seen him in over 20 years and if I wasn't a week behind on my newspaper reading I would've wanted to see him off 🙏🏻. RIP Lou 💐

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dario. My condolences to the entire Sartori family. Dario and Carla (and the entire Sartori family) were my 2nd family growing up. I fondly remember all the times at their house, especially Carla's cooking. Our trip to Lago di Garda was a trip of a lifetime and Dario was a gracious host. My heart goes out to the family. -Bryan Sprague
