Obituary for Dario G. Sartori
Dario G. Sartori, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 29, 2021 surrounded by his family. Dario was born in Brenzone, Italy on January 7, 1937 to the late Luigi and Mary (Pericolosi) Sartori. He immigrated to Torrington, CT in 1956. In 1963 he married the love of his life, Carla Lucchesi Martinelli launching a journey that spanned 58 years.
He loved his family and devoted everyday of the rest of his life to them. His grandchildren were an endless joy right up to his final days.
As a businessman, Dario was owner of New York Meat Company retiring in 2002.
He is survived by his wife, Carla Sartori and his children, Daniela Shea of Westerly RI, Roberto Sartori of Tolland, Marco Sartori of Wethersfield, Rita Sartori of Ashley Falls, MA, and Luigi Sartori of Lebanon. He is also survived by eight wonderful grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may join the family for a Funeral Mass on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 10am at St. Matthew Church, 111 Tolland Green, Tolland. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
