Christine Louise Binheimer, 71, of Vernon passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, June 4, 2021. She was born on August 21, 1949, to the late Russell and Alice Binheimer of Tolland. She was predeceased in 2012 by her brother Keith Binheimer.

Christine loved crocheting and doing crafts. Always working on a project for the people in her life. She loved going to craft fairs and church bazaars with her childhood friend, Karolee Poitras. They always came home with a deal that they just couldn’t pass up.

She was an avid fan of NASCAR and spent many years as a seasonal ticket holder at Stafford Motor Speedway.

She leaves her two nieces, Tina Binheimer of Tolland, and Amy Rapone, and her husband Jerry, also of Tolland. She also leaves her great niece, Katherine Rapone and her great nephew Desmond Rapone, who were the lights of her life. She also leaves her sister-in-law Linda Binheimer.

Her family would like to thank Gottier Fuel Co. where she worked for 17 years. She considered them her second family.

There will be no calling hours and the burial will be at the convenience of her family.
