Christine (Chris) Bay passed away on July 08, 2021. Chris was born on April 9, 1952, to William and Helen Carley of Boston, MA. Chris graduated from Saint Mary’s of Assumption in 1970 and attended post-secondary school for Dental Hygiene. Chris married Michael Bay in 1976 and had two children: Kelly and Melissa in 1976 and 1978, respectively. Chris resided in Coventry, CT, where she raised her daughters. Chris was known for her adventurous spirit, enthusiasm for playing the guitar, and love of Siamese cats. Chris also enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and camping. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and family during the holidays. Chris is survived by her mother, Helen Carley of Boston, MA; daughters, Kelly Bay-Poulin of Coventry, CT, and Melissa Bay of Portland, OR; son-in-law, Michael Poulin, and grandsons, Dylan and Noah Poulin of Coventry, CT; siblings, Joan Carley, Laureen Smith, Bill Carley, Mary Carley, David Carley, and 11 nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all of the caretakers who dedicated their time to caring for Chris’ health and well-being. Relatives and friends may join the family on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 between the hours of 4pm-7pm at the Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home,2665 Boston Turnpike,Coventry,CT.
