Obituary for Ricky Wilson Jr.

Richard J. Wilson Jr as known by most as "Ricky", 31, of East Windsor CT passed away unexpectedly 7/15/2021. Ricky was born to Michele Cuvier and Richard Wilson Sr. both of East Windsor CT on March 31st 1990. Ricky loved and adored his sons and family whole heartedly. He was an ultimate outdoorsman his entire life with his passions of fishing, riding dirt bikes & quads, camping, daredevil stunts most people would never dream of attempting, and nature walks/hikes. At a very early age Ricky was known for disassembling anything he get ahold of especially anything with a motor and putting it back together again. Over the years he became quite the self taught mechanic who would always help anyone and everyone with their vehicles, ATV's, lawn mowers, boat motors, and anything you can think of. Ricky had a personality that was hard not to fall in love with and it just simply cannot be described with words. Ricky was never the emotional type but often expressed himself through his love of music and in his playful ways of torturing his sisters, friends, and family. Sometimes he'd just say your name over and over and over, even if you responded he'd still continue calling your name. Ricky also hated his picture taken so his loved ones always took advantage of this when possible and he'd often retaliate by sticking his armpit in their faces or show his armpit for the picture. It wasn't until after his sister Courtney's passing that he made it a point to verbally tell everyone that he loved them. Growing up he was often found with his friends Nick Farmer and Evan Gouger which family lovingly nicknamed them the 3 musketeers. Ricky and Nick have been inseparable since a very young age to current times. Can't forget to mention his beloved Boston Redsox and New York Giants.
Ricky had 3 sons with his fiancé Shay Paradis of 14 years. His twin boys Hunter and Dillion Wilson and youngest Ethan Wilson. Those boys were Ricky's world. It wasn't often he wasn't out in a stream or river somewhere without his sons, taking them out for rides on the quad, camping, or teaching them how to repair things. Sometimes that included how to fix things using his grandfather's method of duct tape, rope, and zip ties. Besides his parents he was survived by his Fiancé Shay Paradis of Bristol CT; Grandmother Dale Cuvier of East Windsor CT; His sisters; Angie Courchesne of Willington CT, and sister Krystal and her husband Jeremy Williams of East Windsor CT; His best friend and un-biological brother that the family unofficially adopted Nick Farmer of Dexter ME, Dawn Cuvier and her husband of Steve of Somers CT; His niece Brianna Williams of East Windsor; and Nephew Jayce Soto of Bristol CT; Cousin Cody Arnone of Somers; His great uncles Norman Savanella and Al Jacob of Manchester CT; and Ricky's many, many friends. Ricky was predeceased by his Grandfather Jack Cuvier, His Sister Courtney Courchesne, his uncle Jack Cuvier Jr, Great Grandmother Isabelle Savanella, and life long bestfriend friend Chris Jensen.
