On September 10, 2021 Rita Catherine (Peltier) Letellier passed into Heaven while surrounded by her adoring family. She was born in Gilbertville, MA and was 92 years young. Rita resided at Touchpoints at Chestnut in East Windsor, CT where she was admired by her fellow residents and staff. She loved bingo, baking, playing cards, making puzzles, an occasional trip to the casino and visits from her cherished children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had survived her husband, Lucien Letellier who passed away in 2018 and her son, Steven Letellier who passed away in 2007. Rita leaves 2 sons, Richard Letellier and wife Marie of East Windsor, CT, Robert Letellier and wife Edith of Phoenix, AZ and a daughter, Linda Welch and husband Garry of East Windsor, CT. She also leaves 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Rita leaves a legacy full of memories that her family and friends will cherish for the rest of their lives.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 9-11am at Bassinger & Dowd Funeral Home, 37 Gardner Street, East Windsor, CT. A memorial service will follow at 11 AM at the Bassinger & Dowd Funeral Home. Burial will follow immediately at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, 64 Rye ST, Broad Brook, CT.

In lieu of flowers, Rita may be remembered with memorial contributions to the East Windsor Senior Center. Checks should be payable to the Town of East Windsor, 11 Rye Street, Broad Brook, CT 06016 with a note that it is a memorial contribution to the Senior Center on behalf of Rita Letellier.
