Obituary for Judith E. Savoie

Judith E. (Pohlmann) Savoie, 82, previously from Coventry on Jan. 28, 2022 left this earth to return home to be with the love of her life, the late George H. Savoie. She was born Nov. 2, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Pohlmann.

She leaves behind three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Nicholas Bowen of Woodstock, Pamela and Douglas Hoyle of Mansfield, and Diane and Alan Loveday of Enfield and a son, Linwood Savoie previously from Coventry. She is also predeceased by her oldest daughter, Elizabeth Macera of California and all of her brothers. She leaves behind five grandchildren, Jessica Macera, Nicole Bowen, Daniel Holben, Samantha Loveday, and Adam Loveday and four great grandchildren, Emma Rae, Hunter, Luca and Julian. She also leaves behind two special friends, Bobbie Breault and Laura McGoldrick of Coventry.

Her #1 job was caring for her children, especially her handicapped son who resided with her until her dementia took over and she could no longer care for him. Her second job was being a tour guide for several bus companies. She loved this job and it took her many places around the United States, including my mom and dad's favorite place Hawaii. Judith was also a member of the Auxillary at CVFA which gave her the chance to see my dad more since he was always there.
