Obituary for Eugenia Redler (Koch)

Eugenia (Koch) Redler, 96 of Tolland and wife of the late Adolf Redler, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Vernon Manor. She was born on May 31, 1925 in Ukraine to the late Franz and Anna (Seelinger) Koch. She emigrated to the United States in 1958. She retired as House Mother from Oak Hill School for the Blind in Hartford, CT. She is survived by her children; Frieda and Hans Hackner of Tolland, Ignatz Redler of Glastonbury, Franz and Lynn Redler of Ellington, Hedwig Itsou and her late husband Sam of Coventry, Christine and Scott Stahl of South Carolina; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Maria Frank, Franz Koch, Jacob Koch, and Ewrin Koch and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may join the family from 5-7 p.m., Wed., April 6, 2022 at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Rd., (Rt 195) Tolland. A funeral procession will gather by 10:15am, Thur., April 7, 2022 at the funeral home to St. Matthew's Church in Tolland for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
