Charles E. Zemek, 80, of Willington, CT passed away on March 22, 2022. He was born on January 9, 1942 in Stafford, CT to the late Charles and Emily (Vesley) Zemek. He graduated from Hall Memorial School in Willington in 1956. He attended Windham Tech and graduated in 1960. He served in the Air Force between 1962 and 1966 focusing on radio repair. He worked many years for Pratt & Whitney. He rode his motorcycle to work every day possible. After he retired, he took over the farm and cut and baled many, many bales of hay which he sold. He also raised many kinds of vegetables which he also sold. He also took time to travel, visiting family and friends in Georgia and Florida. He enjoyed Polka music, listening to it and learning to dance to it. He is survived by his maternal cousins, Elizabeth Robertson, Robert E. Smith, Sylvia Poirier, Blanche Nadeau and Bruce Tedford, his paternal cousins Frank Zemek, Marianne Kalbac and Emily Le Pard, as well as many dear friends.
