Marion S. Burke, 79, of South Windsor, CT passed away on Friday June 24, 2022 peacefully. She was born in Rockville, CT, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred (Usher) St. Louis. She was a communicant at St. Mathews Church in Tolland. She sang in the Choir and volunteered at the church. She was an avid quilter and crafter. She loved her quilting and selling her creations at Craft Shows. She leaves behind her children William Smith, Christine Streeter, Kenneth Smith. Her stepdaughters Melanie Plagmann, Connie Dempsey and her stepson Tom Burke. Her beloved grandchildren Jennifer Streeter, Jon Streeter, Amanda Plagmann, Christine Plagmann, Tobi Smith, Doug Burke and Danny Burke. She also leaves behind her brothers Melvin St Louis, Everett St Louis, Arthur St Louis and Allan St louis. Her sisters Norine Veal, Winnie Burns, Joan Watson, Linda Tarasek and Carol Gyngell. She was a well loved Aunt by many nieces and nephews. She was an intrical part of our family and will be deeply missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday July 1, 2022 at St Matthew's Church, 111 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT. Burial to follow at South Cemetery, 299 Cider Mill Rd, Tolland CT. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 4:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Rd. (Rte. 195) Tolland, CT.
