Lester M. Martin III, of Ellington, CT passed away Friday, July 15, 2022 at his home unexpectedly. He was born August 10, 1958 in Hartford, CT the eldest son of Arlene K. (Rowe) Martin and the late Lester M. Martin, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Arlene of Enfield; his three children, Matthew Dubreuil and his wife Guila of Enfield, Leslie Martin and Zechariah Martin of Wales, MA; his three siblings Matthew Martin of Enfield, Lisa Martin and her partner Bill Schweitzer of Windsor Locks, and David Martin of Enfield; his grandson Noah Dubreuil; his niece Natasha Schweitzer; his stepdaughter Elizabeth Martinez and stepson Matthew Martinez; and his cat Kit. He was predeceased by his wife Tina Martin and his sister Crystal Martin.
Lester was a caring and beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, and cared deeply about others. He was always trying to help in any way that he could. He loved to take his walks around Crystal Lake and enjoy the nature scenery, and was especially fond of his cat, Kit. He was loved by the community around Crystal Lake. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
