James Richard King Jr., age 53, born January 3, 1969, also known as Ko-Ko, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022. He was predeceased by Joseph King, Patricia King and Richard Schweitzer. He is survived by his parents, James and Anna King of Ellington; siblings, Jackie and Rob Pugliese of Ellington, Laura and Dave Turner of Tennessee, Cheryl King of Vernon, and Francis and Mark Fluckinger of Vernon; and sister-in-law, Jill Schweitzer of Stafford. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He lived with his lifelong friend, Diane Christian and dear freind, George. James loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking and had a true love of nature.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville, CT.
